STAY BACK!
So I was thrilled when I found out that our school offers RADS (self defense courses) for the kids. Three times a week for a month Kira went to classes to learn self defense. We heard many "STAY BACKS" and "YOU"RE NOT MY MOM!" when she came home from school. She did AWESOME at her graduation and enjoyed every minute of it! Watch for Squire's RADS pictures next!

My football stars!
Squire has followed in his daddy's footsteps. He played on a flag football team this seasons and loved every minute of it! The day he finished he asked when he got to start tackle football. He loved being the quarterback and took it very seriously. Jason won a hard earned championship on his flag football team. Now he can look into retirement and be a coach of Squire's team.

How we spent Kassidy's birthday
Our princess is 5!
Our princess is 5! For Kassidy's birthday she had all her friends come for a Salon party at Aunt Hilary's Salon. They had so much fun relaxing in the foot bath, having their toenails and fingernails done, getting an updo and sparkles for their hair. It was perfect for our girly girl! Kassidy is a very social little thing and wanted to make sure that all her school, neighborhood friends and cousins were invited. Although it was quite an undertaking for me and my sisters, it was a huge success! The girls definitely felt beautiful!

Girls weekend in St.George
Mom and Kira spent three days in St.George. We went swimming, shopping and saw Les Miserables at Tuachan. It was a fun, relaxing weekend. It was weird to only have one child to worry about, but fun to have a grownup weekend with Kira. Squire and Kasidy were able to spend the weekend with Daddy and went to the Lindon Elementary carnival. Kira loved seeing the play with the beautiful backdrop of the red cliffs and enjoyed staying up until midnight to see it.
Kira and Grandpa at the preshow
We stopped at the S. George temple on the way home and were fascinated by the cotton plants that were on the grounds. It was a perfect learning experience for Kira who is learning about plants that are in Utah.

Back to School!
We sure enjoyed our first summer in our new home. The kids we busy playing out side, riding bikes, jumping on the tramp, and swimming.
It seemed as though our home was always full with friends! I love it!
This school year started our wonderful! Kira and Squire have adjusted well to their new school, Lindon Elementary. Kira is in the fourth grade and is excited because we hear she has one of the best teachers in the school. Squire started first grade and was so excited to be eating school lunch. He calls himself the school lunch kid!
Kassidy and mommy started at a new school. I got a new job at a private school, Kids Village, as the history teacher working about 27 hours a week. And Kassidy is thrilled because she is in the kindergarten class there, she's a kindercarrot. She is loving it and loves to eat lunch with mommy in the kitchen, a perk to having your mommy with you. It was a difficult decision for me to make to stop doing preschool in my home, but it was a great job opportunity for me. It is very flexible and they work well with moms, and I could still be with Kassidy. But I still think of my preschool kids often and love them so much. I was able to cut back at The Children's Place to one night a week, and I love being home more at night. It was a great decision for my family and I love the Kids Village environment. Hopefully the rest of the school year continues to run smooth and we have fun!

Blogging! Here we go!
Okay! So everyone I know blogs. I have finally given in and decided to try it so here it goes!
I had a minute today so I though I'd give it a try. I'm going to play around and see how it turns out.
